Dr Sandipan Ray is a biomedical researcher with over ten years’ experience in translational science, specialising in circadian biology, sleep, and systems biology. His research, published in leading journals such as Science and Nature Communications, has attracted over 1,900 citations (h-index: 24). Dr Ray has held research positions at institutions including the University of Cambridge and University of Pennsylvania. He now leads a research facility at IIT Hyderabad investigating circadian rhythm disruptions in mood and mental disorders using advanced omics and mass spectrometry techniques. His work has resulted in multiple patents and notable awards, including the Thermo Scientific Tandem Mass Tag Research Award.
