Professor Denny Meyer

Professor Denny Meyer is a senior statistician at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, with over 30 years’ experience spanning academia and industry in South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. She specialises in statistical applications in mental health research and leads the statistical efforts for the Mental Health Australia General Clinical Trial Network (MAGNET). She is also Chief Investigator on the University of British Columbia’s PolarUs project and serves on Swinburne’s Centre for Mental Health executive committee. With approximately 250 peer-reviewed publications, mostly on mental health, Professor Meyer’s research includes study design, statistical analysis, and an independent program in suicide prevention focused on voice analysis tools for crisis counselling. Her broader expertise covers data mining, time series analysis, and structural equation modelling.
