At the Beatlab (Centre for Mental Health and Brain Sciences, Swinburne University of Technology), and within the Tipping Point Project, we’re dedicated to advancing research into bipolar disorder by leading together through our diverse expertise and lived experiences.

Our mission is to transform the understanding and treatment of bipolar disorder, through collaboration and innovative, impactful research that leads to better outcomes and empowers individuals.

The Tipping Point project is funded by the Wellcome Trust, UK and is a collaboration between Swinburne University of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabaad, University of Otago, UKE and Newcastle University. We believe that meaningful progress starts with listening, learning, and acting with purpose. We are driven by personal and professional motivations.

“There is no deeper pain than feeling as though you are unworthy of hope.”
