The Bipolar Research Clinic (BRC) will be a first-of-its kind digital clinic designed to empower self-management and enhance quality of life for individuals living with bipolar disorder. The BRC will be designed collaboratively by researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience.

Grounded in best-practice approaches to bipolar disorder care, the digital clinic will offer three integrated tools, with support from qualified from e-therapists and peer experts— all completely free.

  • Personalised Assessment: Assess wellbeing, quality of life and mood, and securely share insights with healthcare professionals.
  • Therapist-Assist Online Psychoeducation: Access interactive, evidence-based modules guided by a trained e-therapist.
  • Online Group Sessions: Join real-time, recovery-oriented peer support to foster shared learning.

We are currently seeking input from healthcare professionals, community organisations, carers, and those with lived experience of bipolar disorder to design this innovative service. The BRC is an initiative of Swinburne’s National eTherapy Centre in partnership with the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing.
